OT CEUs: Get certified
in ART & become the OT patients seek out.
Help patients return to life. Get certified in a proven soft-tissue technique that earns your occupational therapy continuing education credits, advances your clinical expertise, and gives you the manual therapy skills to restore daily function.

Tired of OT CEU Courses That Don’t Move the Needle?
You’re required to get the credits, but most courses leave your skills exactly where they were. Patients struggle with daily tasks, and soft-tissue restrictions are often the limiting factor.
Active Release Techniques (ART) changes that. Our live, in-person occupational therapy seminars fulfill your CEU requirements and actually elevate your OT practice. ART gives you the structure-specific protocols to release restrictions standard manual therapy doesn’t address, restore daily function faster, and help patients return to the activities
that matter most.
Why OTs Add
Manual Therapy Skills:
Soft-tissue restrictions often prevent patients from achieving their functional goals.
OTs who integrate manual therapy can:
› Treat adhesions preventing hand function and fine motor control
› Release fascial restrictions limiting shoulder mobility for ADLs
› Restore mobility needed for dressing, grooming, and self-care
› Address root causes instead of only compensatory strategies.
ART gives you manual therapy skills for mobility, helping patients regain independence faster
and achieve functional outcomes that last.
See why OTs have trusted ART for 38+ years.
“I found ART many years ago after overtraining in triathlon, it has been the only technique to keep me in the game. I have since become an ART practitioner. ART instructors may be some of the most knowledgeable people in the field. I would highly recommend the courses they offer.”
– Matt Sullivan
“This training I feel for any clinician at any level of clinical experience is well worth the investment for your practice.”
– Michelle Cary-Johnson
“This course was very engaging by allowing us to share our clinical work with the group and instructors. To have a collaborative effort in sharpening my skills gave me more confidence and excitement in feeling that I am not alone in this journey.”
– Darry Shishido
“The full week course does a great job of getting in depth with every structure within each course (UE, Spine, and LE). Every instructor is very competent, patient, and friendly, and will work with you for as long as it takes for any difficulty to be resolved and fully understood. They understand how much information is being thrown your way, and work very hard to make sure it is all being absorbed.”
– Félix Lascelles-Palys
“Every time I take an ART seminar I’m better quipped to help my patients immediately. The additions to the seminars and ever improving techniques and protocols are amazing.”
– Aaron Pazik
“ART has been a fabulous addition to my practice! My overall success on patient management and helping with problem cases has skyrocketed!”
– Courtland Keith

Frequently Asked Questions
You have questions. We have answers.
All healthcare professionals can benefit from ART training, especially those who regularly treat chronic pain, soft-tissue/neurofascial/neuromuscular disorders, or work in the occupational or sports medicine fields.
To attend a seminar you must have/be:
- An active healthcare license issued by a state or national credentialing board OR
- An active, full-time student, in a healthcare degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution and be required to obtain a license from a state or national credentialing board to practice in your field of study post-graduation.
Appropriate Attire at the Seminar:
Athletic attire such as shorts, yoga pants, t-shirts, joggers, and athletic polo shirts and tops is most suitable. The seminar involves hands-on practice on other attendees, so wear clothing that allows for ease of movement. Attire should be similar to what you would wear for a workout, excluding items like ties, speedos, jackets or coats, swimsuits, sports bras only, or biking shorts.
Hotel Accommodations:
Hotel accommodations are not included in the cost of the seminar. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own lodging. While seminars held at a hotel may offer a group rate negotiated by ART, attendees have the freedom to choose their lodging arrangements.
Seminar Expectations:
ART Seminars primarily consist of hands-on practice and training, comprising at least 80% of the seminar content. Attendees receive immediate feedback from instructors and peers. It’s essential to prepare in advance for the seminar. Regular snack and lunch breaks are provided, and for detailed seminar agendas, please refer to the main webpage(s) for the seminar(s) of interest.
Registration:
We recommend leaving yourself four to six weeks for self-study of our curriculum materials in advance of a seminar. Having said that, you may enroll in a seminar up to just a few days prior, when registration closes. We ship curriculum materials as soon as your order is processed. The sooner you enroll in a seminar, the more time you’ll have to prepare.
Certification is complete once you have successfully taken and passed any ART Seminar. Seminars typically are 3 to 4 days, with additional study time suggested prior to course start date.
| No. Unless you are a recertification attendee, you must attend the entire seminar to test. |
