The Gold Standard
in Soft-Tissue Care®
Since 1984
Maximize Treatment Success
Stop compromising your integrity and start providing effective, targeted care with ART. Say goodbye to selling lengthy, expensive treatment programs and hello to improved referral and repeat patients.
Boost Workplace Health
As an employer, don’t let productivity suffer while waiting for conditions to become compensable claims or recordable injuries. Utilize ART to address soft-tissue pain and prevent future injuries.
Prioritize Patient Comfort
Don’t settle for countless medical visits with minimal improvement or risky invasive procedures. Make ART your first choice for soft-tissue care and experience relief without breaking the bank.
The Evolution of ART
Delve into the rich history of this innovative approach to soft tissue therapy, tracing its development from its inception to its present-day prominence. Follow the timeline of ART’s evolution and discover how it has revolutionized the landscape of musculoskeletal treatment.
On-Site Care that is the definitive OSHA solution for employers
This spring, OSHA released an update to their guidance for determining workplace recordables. Throughout this update, OSHA continues to consistently acknowledge ART as a clearly defined solution for employers looking to take a proactive approach to employee care without creating recordables.
Watch this video to find out what you need to know about OSHA’s recent updates to its recordable guidelines from ART COO Nate Edwards. Download our flow chart to navigate the OSHA enforcement guidance and current compliance risk.
Increasing Impact
Utilizing technology and data to improve patient outcomes.
Watch the split panel podcast we hosted in Orlando, and hear from Dr. Leahy with special guests Dr. Ryan Comeau (Kinetisense), Dr. Capobianco (RockTape) and our moderators Dr. Brett Winchester and Dr. Taylor Premer of Gestalt Education, who discussed the future of manual/soft-tissue therapy. The team of experts discuss how to appropriately evaluate, implement change, and understand the role that data and technology can play in the continual evolution of treatments.

Meet the Leadership Team
Dr. P. Michael Leahy
President
P. Michael Leahy, DC, ART, CCSP is the founder of ART® and ART® Corporate Solutions, Inc. His career began in the U.S. Air Force, flying F4s as a fighter pilot before retiring to become a commercial pilot. After completing his service, he did what any fighter pilot would do: went to chiropractic college. What may sound like an unconventional turn ended up paving the way for the creation of ART. His favorite thing to do, other than help people live pain-free, is training and competing in Ironman triathlons. If he were a superhero, his power would be to fly (though if you asked us, he already is a superhero).

I was at our ART booth at an expo, and Nina was there helping us. I mentioned I had never had ART treatment performed on me because I hadn’t experienced any discomfort, so she started testing my ROM in various places. She found decreased ROM bilaterally with my shoulder flexion, so she performed ART treatment, and BOOM, I instantly gained more ROM in my shoulder. I never even realized what I was lacking. It was so amazing!

MY ART STORY
I had been working with a left-handed pitcher (junior in high school) for about 6 months. I had taken him from 75 to 83 mph, but we hit a wall. All the manual therapy, mobility drills, mechanic work wasn’t getting him faster, but I knew he had more. I told him to see someone to get tested to make sure there wasn’t a hard end block preventing more range of motion. Three weeks later he came back and when I put him on the mound, he was touching 87 mph. I asked him who he saw, and he said he went to this chiropractor (Dr. Marty Decourcy) who did this weird “stretchy” massage thing on his back and shoulders. I took my first ART seminar two months later.

MY ART STORY
I saw Dr. Willis when I got back from vacation because my lower calves were seizing up when walking after lots of hiking and long beach walks. She worked some ART treatment magic, and my calves were back to normal within a couple of days. She explained that walking in the sand can make the small muscles in your feet do extra work, which can move up your legs. I felt so much better knowing what was going on and having the pain gone so quickly!

I saw Dr. Willis for ART treatment, and she was able to treat the areas around my ribs, back, and neck. I walked out of that appointment feeling like I could hop right back on the slopes! Even though my ribs took time to heal, I could move my upper body without feeling intense pain; it truly was amazing!

My ART Story
When I started at ART, I was shown case studies from earlier in the year. The best case was a college swimmer who had an accident, and her foot/ankle had paralysis; she couldn’t move it at all. She was on a recertification web broadcast, and Dr. Leahy released a nerve nowhere near the foot. By the end of her treatment, the nerve was free, and she was able to start working on rehabilitating her foot. It was the first time since the accident that she had made any progress toward regaining movement again. Quite amazing! It was the first of many amazing, eye-opening moments I’ve witnessed at ART.

My ART Story
I get to see a lot of really cool things happen with the use of ART treatment; it is an awesome thing to do. I also love helping others help others, it is deeply rewarding.
Artie ARTvark
Company Mascot
One morning, an especially disheveled orphan aardvark took a stroll from his alley dumpster home when he stumbled upon ART employees searching for a mascot to adopt. The employees were drawn to the orphan aardvark because of their poor taste in wordplay. (Get it, ARTvark…sigh.)
Because of that, ART asked the orphan aardvark to come home with them. Orphan aardvark was just trying to go about his business, not looking for any trouble (or bright and sun-shiny friends, for that matter). With a nasally “out of my way” and other colorful word choices from his prominent snout, he pushed his way through the employees.
Despite their initial horror at the mouth on this orphan aardvark, the ART employees persisted. Never ones to miss out on a bad play on words, the employees chased after the orphan aardvark and pleaded with him to become the ARTvark, promising fridges full of expired Coors Light, unlimited K-Cups, plus a snug home inside ART’s offices, AND his very own treasure chest. Maybe, they told the orphan aardvark, Dr. Faye would even make him a quilt! (Extra layers are often necessary in the ARTic. {someone, stop us}) Because of that, Artie reluctantly agreed to become ART’s official mascot. He is still a work in progress, like all of us, but Artie is loved and feels proud to represent a company as important as ART. Artie is home.
