ART in Kona 2023

Ready for the experience of a lifetime? ART is headed back to Kona for the IRONMAN World Championships this October, and we have a variety of options for you to renew your ART Certification and refine your palpation and treatment skills.

New in 2023, participation in the ART Treatment Team at IRONMAN during Race Week (October 9-14) will renew your ART certification for 12 months. There is a cost for participating in the Treatment Team, though it is much lower than a traditional recertification seminar. Throughout the week, you will get the opportunity to treat world-class athletes, learn from top ART Instructors, and create lasting relationships with fellow providers. Members of the ART Treatment Team are expected to be available from 7 am-12 pm Monday-Friday, October 9-13, and throughout the day on Race Day, October 14.

Race Day at the IRONMAN World Championships is a can’t miss experience. The day is long but provides providers with a front row seat to watch top atheltes compete for the title of IRONMAN World Champion. What’s more, you are part of helping these athletes achieve their dreams and being one of the first people they connect with post race.

We recognize that the cost to stay in Kona in 2022 was astronomically high. With the change to a women-only race in 2023, the amount of athletes and spectators on the island will be roughly half of last year (or more like years prior to 2022). With this, we anticipate the availability and cost of housing to be more accessible and reasonable.

Prior to Race Week, ART is hosting three seminars at the Royal Kona: Advanced Full Body, Upper Extremity Level 1, and Nerve. These seminars will follow the traditional format and require registration. If you choose to attend a seminar, you are not required to stay on as an ART Treatment Team member. Should you decide to do both, please register for your seminar of choice, and the Treatment Team.
