Active Release Techniques® (ART®) ART On-Site Wellness and DORN are both reputable services that train health care professionals for workplace wellness programs.

Both are employee wellness programs with different areas of specialization that set them apart.

What is ART treatment?

ART treatment is a non-invasive system that treats soft-tissue and nerve dysfunction at the source. This hands-on treatment combines provider touch, pressure, and tension with patient movement to pinpoint and treat the origin of the affected area.

What is an ART Elite Provider?

ART Elite Providers™ (EPs) are part of the Elite Provider Network (EPN): the only team of professionals qualified to provide ART treatment in the workplace.

Elite Providers represent the top 2% of all ART Certified Providers in the world. Learn more about what makes them the best of the best here.

Not only is ART treatment quick, but it is also insanely effective. Over 80% of soft-tissue dysfunction is solved in five or fewer treatment sessions.

What is ART On-Site Wellness?

ART On-Site Wellness Programs place an EP on-site at corporate facilities. Your EP will come on-site every week to treat employees with ART treatment. For many companies, utilization of ART treatment at their workplace is a means to prevent soft-tissue dysfunction from developing into full-blown injury, creating a recordable or worse, a workers’ compensation claim.

The ripple effects of employees experiencing freedom from pain are easy to see:

  • Improved productivity
  • Decreased turnover
  • Reduced workers’ compensation costs and OSHA recordables
  • Time savings for management and leadership

With ART On-site Wellness, employees receive treatment on-site and treatment sessions are quick, lasting 15 minutes per employee.

What does ART treat?

ART treatment will reduce employee pain and improve their function.

ART commonly treats:

  • Back pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Foot pain
  • Migraines + headaches
  • Sciatic pain
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Hip pain
  • Knee pain
  • Sprains, strains, and more
What is DORN?

DORN promotes workplace wellness through injury prevention and ergonomics by educating employees on musculoskeletal wellness.

What does DORN do?

DORN focuses on educating its clients to prevent workplace injuries by maintaining a healthy lifestyle to improve overall well-being.

Here is what they have to offer:

  • PainFree™ Treatments

15–30-minute pain relief sessions to treat aches, pains, and discomfort in the neck, shoulders, hands and arms, lower back, and knees by a DORN Specialist.

  • Education and Training

Risk management and ergonomic employee training to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.

  • Technology Solutions

Wearable technology and predictive data resources to prevent injuries by tracking employee health.

How are they different?

The major differences between both on-site wellness programs lie in the approach and offered services.

On-site ART treatment focuses on the prevention of soft-tissue dysfunction through utilization of ART protocols and the ART Diagnostic Algorithm, to optimize performance and health.

An example is a patient’s soft tissue dysfunction characterized by the presence of fibrosis, where excessive scar tissue formation leads to stiffness and reduced flexibility in the affected area.

This type of discomfort could affect an employee’s ability to produce quality work by having a limited range of motion and decreasing job satisfaction.

An EP would locate the exact source of pain, perform ART treatment, and within 15 minutes, the employee can get back to work instantly feeling better than before their appointment.

DORN offers a broad range of workplace safety services through ergonomic assessments, injury prevention training, and movement analysis.

Our approach is simple

Utilize ART treatment to prevent work-related soft-tissue dysfunction to improve your employee satisfaction and productivity.

The fact of the matter is, if your employees do repetitive tasks of any kind throughout the day, eventually their bodies will require maintenance.

We make it simple to get ART on-site in just a few easy steps:

  1. Set up a presentation
  2. Sign your paperwork
  3. Choose your designated ART space
  4. Enjoy the benefits
